Attention Truckers Who Bought Fuel at Von Ormy, Texas, Pilot Flying J

 Pilot Flying J is seeking to make contact with drivers who bought fuel at the Pilot Travel Center in Von Ormy, Texas, on exit 140 on Interstate 35. ccording to media reports, several drivers reported trucks running poorly after refueling at Von Ormy, a city in Bexar County near San Antonio.

“We first learned of the situation Tuesday afternoon when a professional driver notified the general manager of the Pilot Travel Center in Von Ormy, Texas,” Pilot Flying J said in a prepared statement. “The general manager then notified our corporate office, and the diesel pumps used to fuel tractor trailers were closed. We immediately started investigating the cause of the issue and are still currently doing so.”  The pumps have been reopened with no reported problems.


Pilot is asking drivers who purchased diesel for their trucks between 2:40 p.m. and 3:50 p.m. CDT Tuesday at the Von Ormy, Texas, truck stop to contact Pilot’s Customer Service Department at (877) 866-7378.
Pilot Flying J is asking callers to have the receipt or credit card number used for the purchase ready.
“The safety and convenience of our customers is top priority at Pilot Flying J,” the company said, according to the release.
