June 17th, 18th and 19th, commercial motor vehicles are going to want to mind their P's and Q's. Michigan, Ohio and Indiana are collaborating for three days to crack down on CMV's that are traveling off of the interstates. Sgt. Tyler Utterback of the Indiana state police said "We’re going to be partnering with our neighboring states to focus more on our state, U.S. and local routes for any basic enforcement. There’s no particular violation that we’re going to concentrate on, just patrolling those areas for any type of violators driving commercial vehicles." Sgt. Utterback also noted that because the heightened enforcement will be off-interstate, it is very likely that they will catch overloaded haulers. You can find out more by clicking here.
