In the wake of storm Hercules, Governors of several states have implemented temporary exemptions to the federal hours or operations regulations. Arkansas: State of Emergency, exempts gas and loads providing emergency relief. Exemption is effective until 1/17.
Maine: Emergency proclamation, exempts heating fuel and bulk petroleum. Exemption is effective unitl 1/18
Massachussetts: Declaration of emergency, waives HOS rules for fuels used for heating homes and businesses. Exemption is effective until 11:59 pm 1/7.
