Added stress during the Holidays is hard on truckers, there's no denying it. There's the pressure of getting your loads delivered on time - which is ALWAYS a present pressure, it's just compounded during the Holiday season due to the added traffic on the road and the desire to unload and to get home for the holidays. Perhaps the stress of not being home for Holidays, or having a family or someone special to spend the holidays with, really takes a toll on you; maybe depression set in.
