Crew Charged With 10 Years of Theft to Go To Trial

Oh, man. Man oh man. As if they thought they'd never get caught. A ring of thieves is scheduled to go to trial some time next month. The cargo theft ring consisted of ten individuals. Warrants were issued for all ten. Out of those ten, two entered pleas, and indictments against two of the men were dropped. The crew worked together for ten years and most of them are from Kansas City, Mo. They are charged with conspiring to steal five trucks and 17 trailers between the years of 2005 and 2011. The cargo that was stolen ranges from appliances to dog food. It is believed that four of the men would steal the trucks/trailers/cargo, two of the men would be responsible for changing the appearances of the vehicles or equipment, and then the stolen goods were taken to a Kansas City convenience store.
