Fuel Prices Going Down

Here's a little something to make you smile: The prices of fuel have taken a slight dip.  You most certainly noticed the word "slight".  The average national retail price of diesel dropped by 1.1 cents this week. Compared to last year, though, the current average diesel price of $3.964 per gallon is 11.9 cents per gallon higher than this same week of last year. This week's national average price of gasoline dropped as well, by 2.9 cents.  Again, compared to the same week of last year, the current price of gasoline - $3.684 per gallon - is 14.6 cents higher than in 2013.
