We expect to see plenty of smiling faces while filling up our fuel tanks! The price of diesel has (finally!) dropped to below $4 nationwide. This drop comes as quite a relief after the 14.4 cents in a five week surge that we saw at the pumps in Jan-Feb of this year. The current national diesel average price is $3.98, which is still 1.4 cents lower than the price of diesel fuel this exact same week of last year. The most expensive diesel can be found in the Central Atlantic costing $4.277 per gallon and New England regions costing $4.279 per gallon. The region with the cheapest diesel price is currently the gulf coast, where one gallon of diesel will cost you $3.80. You can read more by clicking here.
