National Truck Driving Championships Are Coming Up!

Every year, truck drivers from across the country train in preparation of what is colloquially referred to as the "Trucking Olympics." Drivers compete at several different levels - including state, company and regional levels, before finally qualifying for the national competition. The competition consists of three parts - a pre-trip inspection, a written exam, and a behind the wheel course, all in addition to a personal interview. In order to eligible to enter the competition, a competitor must be continiously employed for at least one year prior to the competition. The competitor must also be accident free for one year prior to the National Truck Driving Championships. This year, the competition will be held August 12-16th at the David L.
