Price of Diesel Rises.. Again

Once again, the price of diesel is on the rise. The national average price for diesel fuel jumped up 2.6 cents over the weekend, making the current national average price for diesel $3.977. Diesel prices have risen 10.4 cents over the last three weeks. Although that seems steep, when compared to this same week last year, it is actually quite a savings. The price of diesel this same week last year was 12.7 cents higher that it is currently. What a savings, folks!!  The New England region currently boasts the country’s expensive diesel, $4.369 while the Central Atlantic is a close second at $4.369. The country’s cheapest diesel can be found in the Gulf Coast region, with a $3.788 per gallon average. You can find out more here.
