The annual blitz of roadside inspections is about to begin this upcoming week, June 3-5. The collaboration between he Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and others will send nearly 10,000 inspectors from agencies ranging the local to federal level into 1500 inspection points all over the U.S. Of the 70,000 roadside inspections from last year, 22% of them resulted in out-of-service equipment and 4% of out-of-service drivers.
