Trucking Employment Remains Unchanged

The monthly employment report that was published on March 7th by the Bureau of Labor Statistics detailed the employment stats for February 2014 and stated that the for-hire trucking industry did not add or lose any jobs in the month of February Employment rose in construction, manufacturing, wholesale trade, mining, government, and utilities. There was a slight drop in retail jobs.  1.3895 million payroll jobs in February were from the for-hire trucking industry, showing a 1.1 percent increase from February 2013.  "The BLS numbers for trucking reflect all payroll employment in for-hire trucking, but they don’t include trucking-related jobs in other industries, such as a truck driver for a private fleet."   You can find out more by reading here.
