Will the Electronic Logging Device Rule be Published?

On March 14, 2013, Anne Ferro, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Administrator, stood in front of the House Transportation and Infrastructure’s Highways and Transport Subcommittee (members of Congress) and stated that she expected the FMCSA to publish the rule that would mandate the use of Electronic Logging Devices by September of 2013. But the agency didn't publish the rule in September of 2013; instead, Ferro extended the deadline to November 18th. And then extended the deadline again to December 23rd. The December publish date was pushed back again until January 28th. And then again to February 27th. We'll see if the FMCSA publishes the ruling in the next three days. You can read more here.
